How can I manage, update, or cancel my account?
Please send an email to support@mytend.com to update your personal or billing information or to cancel your contract.
If I cancel my contract, will I get a refund?
If you cancel in the first 30 days of your contract, you will get a full refund. If you cancel after 30 days and you paid for a full year, you will receive a prorated refund, less any claims. If you cancel after 30 days and you paid monthly, your plan will terminate at the end of current payment cycle.
How do renewals work?
So you don't experience a lapse in coverage, your contract is eligible for automatic renewal. You will receive a renewal notice at least 30 days prior to your renewal date. There is nothing you need to do as your coverage will renew, and your coverage limits will automatically reset. If you decide to cancel, your coverage will end on your renewal/expiration date.
Will my rate go up when I renew?
If there is a any change in your price, you will be notified at least 30 days in advance of your renewal.
What does Tend cover that my homeowners insurance does not?
Homeowners insurance and a home warranty such as Tend cover very different conditions. Homeowners insurance protects your home from perils such as fire, flood, wind, or storm damage. Warranties, on the other hand, protect your essential home systems like HVAC, appliances, plumbing, electrical and more, from normal wear and tear,
What is not covered under a Tend Home warranty?
General exclusions include cosmetic or intentional damage, insect or animal infestations, repairs covered by manufacturer warranties, and damage covered by homeowners insurance. Coverage starts 30 days after the purchase of a plan. See a sample of the terms and conditions.
What is the claim process with Tend Home?
It's simple. Before you call the service provider of your choice for a Tend Home claim, see our page with helpful claims information. Arrange for service. To file you claim after the work is complete, log into your online account. Follow the instructions, complete the information, upload all receipts, quotes, and work orders, acknowledge the terms, and click submit.

What if my equipment cannot be repaired?
If your covered equipment, system, device, or appliance cannot be repaired, but not due to any contracted exclusions, you will be eligible for reimbursement of a replacement with equivalent features, functions, capacity, size, and brand.
